Kathryn is licensed to practice law in Ohio

She received her Juris Doctorate from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1997. She received her BBA from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati.

Kathryn focuses on Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Probate and general Elder Law issues. Prior to joining William E. Hesch Law Firm LLC, she practiced with another area Elder Law firm. Kathryn also practiced with Pro Seniors Inc., for eleven years, counseling Ohio seniors on various legal issues – Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, probate, estate planning, Powers of Attorney, guardianship, consumer law issues, landlord tenant law and foreclosure issues. Kathryn served as an Equal Justice Works and AmeriCorps Fellow through Pro Seniors, Inc.

Aside from Elder Law, Kathryn has a wide legal resume in her twenty-five years of law practice. She served as a Law Clerk for Hamilton County Common Pleas Court, the Honorable Ann Marie Tracey. She was a Hamilton County Prosecutor handling various juvenile felony and misdemeanor cases, municipal court cases (DUI’s, assaults, traffic violations, etc.) and child support matters. Kathryn also has extensive foreclosure experience, representing both creditors and homeowners.

Kathryn serves as the Secretary of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Elder and Special Needs Law Committee. She has also served as the fundraising chair and Secretary of the Beverly Cottages Parent Group (Godfrey, Illinois) for the past 17 years. This group provides funding for the needs of severely developmentally disabled individuals. She is also currently serving as a board member of the Groves B. Smith Guardianship Corporation (Godfrey, Illinois). Kathryn is a member of the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce. Kathryn has also been actively involved as a volunteer in her children’s activities in the Forest Hills School District.
